🏊‍♂️ Now Hiring: Camp Swim Instructor (July 19–24)

Location: Camp Mitchell (Morrilton, AR)

Type: Short-term / Seasonal (1 Week)

Compensation: Competitive Stipend + Full Room & Board (All meals and lodging provided)
About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, responsible leader to head up our waterfront swimming program for the week of July 19–24. This is a great opportunity for a college student, teacher, or certified instructor looking to spend a rewarding week on the mountain while earning a stipend.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and organize daily swimming lessons for campers.

Supervise and coordinate other staff members/volunteers assisting with swim instruction.

Ensure a safe, fun, and supportive environment at the camp pool.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.

Documented experience teaching swimming lessons.

Strong leadership skills to supervise assistant instructors.

Lifeguard/WSI certification preferred (or willing to verify current skills).

Now Recruiting: Junior High Session Directors for Summer 2026!

Are you looking for a meaningful way to give back this summer? Camp Mitchell is looking for passionate leaders to serve as Session Directors for our upcoming Junior High camps!

We already have the curriculum ready to go—we just need your energy, leadership, and heart to help program and bring it to life for our campers during the week.

📅 Available Sessions:
Junior High 1: June 28th – July 3rd
Junior High 2: August 2nd – 7th

🛌 What’s Provided:
Full housing on the mountain for the week.
All meals provided by our camp kitchen.
A supportive, welcoming community of staff and volunteers!

Whether you are a camp veteran or looking to step into leadership on the mountain for the first time, we would love to have you.

Senior High Camp is just weeks away, and we still have a few spots open for rising 9th–12th graders!

All are welcome — whether your teen identifies as Episcopalian, Christian, spiritual, questioning, or simply looking for community. At our LGBTQ-affirming camp, campers will make new friends, reconnect with old ones, swim, play, create, worship, and grow in faith together in a safe and welcoming environment.

Scholarships are available to help make camp possible for every family. Come join us on the mountain this summer!
