finally staged up my nephew’s dresser! 💙🤎 I love the rich combination my sister & brother-in-law chose for this, topped with the antique brass hardware!

now this solid Ethan Allen dresser is moody, masculine & timeless AND bound to grow with him for yearsss to come! that is the best investment in my book!

since I rarely paint blue, I challenged myself to make a custom color that felt soft, tranquil, and fitting for this gorgeous, antique dresser 🤍 I love all of the feminine details, the beaded trim, appliqués, the turned legs & I feel like this color lets them shine!

Available at Best of Janesville Vintage Mall, in space #30 right when you walk in!

something about an mcm piece 😍 so glad I have 2 mcm dressers to be refinished in my inventory!

here’s how I finished this nightstand:

+ sanded to bare wood 120/150/180/220
+ gel stained in Kona
+ wipe on poly
+ antique gold rub & buff

this right here brings me so much peace.. a handpainted mahogany dresser in a gorgeous shade of green, complemented by my vintage art & book collection 💚 it brings me so much joy. joy that I get to do this in my spare time, joy that I’ve found a passion that lets me be creative, & relaxes me at the same time. I wish for everyone to have an outlet like this.

it feels like recently I’ve had the chance to tell a number of people how I started painting furniture, and I will always be grateful for the journey that got me here. it was the best decision for my well-being & couldn’t imagine it any other way.

i feel like a little black end table is the equivalent to a little black dress 🖤 so classy & timeless! solid wood furniture that can be refinished over & over will never get old either 🤗 (custom/not for sale)

loving this Lexington cabinet makeover! 🖤 the design is a spin off of a recent server I did (if you feel like you’re seeing double! 👀) this one is painted in antique black, with a dark stained top in Kona gel stain. I also had to use these handles again 🤎
