Mid-Century Ball Chair-Reproduction of Original 1963 Chair-available!!
This chair is an inspired reproduction of the original Ball Chair, first introduced in 1963. It was built in the US by furniture manufacturer, InMod and cost more than $2000 new!
Fiberglass chair and upholstered interior are in good used condition. Pedestal and base have been repaired/re-attached. Chair is now stationary - does not swivel. Much more stable and sturdy after repair. A few scuff marks on the back of the chair and around the outer edge of the base.

The Ball Chair is one of the most iconic examples of mid-century modern furniture. The original Ball Chair was designed in 1963 in Finland by Eero Aarnie and can be found in the collections of design museums around the world and it has starred in several movies, music videos and countless magazine covers.

What a classic, beautiful piece! Fully restored, Maddox Furniture “Governor Winthrop” Secretary, C. 1920’s, made of solid mahogany sourced in NY forests. Original brass hardware! Maddox (founded in 1898 in Jamestown, NY) was known for very high quality, historically inspired furniture AND secret compartments! And yes, this secretary has the secret compartments!
