He found inspiration in the opportunity to measure, observe and study pieces created by this nation’s finest craftsmen. Ryan approaches each piece with diligence and inspiration. The intricacies and fine details found within all of his work demonstrate his mastery of the craft.

I haven’t been in the shop this week. There is a big change for the shop coming (more on that later) but I was able to come in and finish up this quarter board for a local clients home.
The scallop shells were fun to make.
If anyone is interested in one please feel free to reach out.

So my phone was destroyed on Tuesday. I left it on my tailgate and it slid off into the road where it was run over by so many cars. I lost a bunch of photos that were not backed up but I still have some good ones from the past. If anyone has pictures of my work that is in their home please send them over.
In the meantime here is a great project that I built for a client a while back. I still remember being at my bench for two weeks fitting the inlay around this turning. It was worth it!

Sometimes simple is the way to go.
Grabbed some photos before this coffee table was picked up by the movers.
The joinery and proper wood layout on these table legs allow the grain of the leg to “run” straight through the bottom shelf. I think it is worth the effort.

Went down to Pawtucket yesterday to finish up a couple things. Nice home office nook with a white oak countertop and a custom stained glass door. There are floating white oak shelves for plants on the opposing walls.
Please reach out for any of your cabinetry needs. I also offer cabinet design services. Having projects rendered on the computer in 3d is a great way to visualize the final project before any expensive materials are cut!

Nice little 12’ built in for a clients home office in Lincoln. Got to use a really nice woven wire mesh for the door panels. Still waiting on hardware but it can now be put to use. Can’t wait to see it fully decorated!

Some CAD work for me today. I am working through a couple versions of the cabinetry for an upcoming home office project. I still get the urge to draft with pencil and paper but I love being able to show the designs in 3d to clients.

Delivered this white oak dresser and two matching nightstands over the weekend. I can’t believe how heavy they ended up being!
I like this clean modern design. All done solid hardwood white oak and maple. I did build the dovetail drawers to work on drawer slides for ease of use.
The white oak was finished with stain and a matte clear coat which looks great paired with the solid brass bin pulls.

Here you go assembled perch “tables”. These are meant to be attached to the wall like a floating shelf. Simple form but the details are key. The turning must be perfect for the cove cut to work. Assembly is also tricky on the round parts. Anyhow I will hang one to take some real photos

The 9.5” perch tables all ready for assembly.
