LDS announces the launch of a new development ,NT-ORBIT™ an AI-based platform that transforms field detection of narcotics and explosives into real-time, origin-based intelligence.
By fusing Raman and IMS data, NT-ORBIT™ connects field operations directly to command-and-control intelligence environments.
The system enables origin attribution for narcotics and explosive materials through high-precision spectral fingerprint analysis, based on systematic comparison against a large, continuously evolving reference database of substances, impurities, precursors, and production-related markers.
Through real-time, AI-based fusion of Raman molecular spectra and IMS Nano-trace signatures, NT-ORBIT™ supports:
Linkage between seizures, vehicles, warehouses, and suspects,
Geographical attribution down to region, city, or laboratory level,
Identification and prediction of emerging trafficking and illicit activity patterns, Dynamic GIS mapping of material flows and smuggling routes
NT-ORBIT™ is deployed both as rapid-deployment field components and within central command-and-control centers, transforming every deployed GScan / ISCAN unit into a distributed intelligence sensing node within a unified network.
In an environment where narcotics networks and terrorist organizations rapidly adapt their methods, the ability to determine who produces illicit materials, where they originate, how they move, and where they are likely headed next represents a significant advancement in operational chemical intelligence.
