... it was a day.
Sorry for the name dropping but these products all worked perfectly.
Yesterday, I was making a bowl and needed to sharpen my carving axe and finished with my strops. Let’s just say that it got nice and sharp. From there I put the axe down on my bench to put the strops away and somehow knocked the axe off my bench and it landed perfectly blade side down on my favorite pair of .official boots. Thankfully they are good boots as it probably would have done worse damage if it were my old boots. What felt like a rock hitting my food (which is why I thought nothing happened) turned out to be a bit more once I was able to come inside and take off my boots. The axe sliced through the boot - through the sock and nicked my foot. Thankfully the axe didn’t have any dings in it that I would have had to fix when I picked it up.
So, everyone listed, thank you for making such a great product! This probably wasn’t the best type of endorsement but everything worked like it was supposed to! @ Montague, Massachusetts

Outside working in the sun for the second day this week. This January correct? Snow is melting again - I have a feeling our flowers are going to be all confused this spring.

Success-ish. Took 4 days of thawing and it still split crooked. There was a limb that was growing in there that I didn’t know existed which didn’t help with any of it. I should still be able to squeeze out a bowl from one side and maybe take another try at a kuska and/or lots of spoons and kitchenwares OR firewood. We’ll see. @ Montague, Massachusetts

When it is 5°F I try to do some active work to stay warm. Cutting a big maple bowl blank was the plan. I have the length however I need to let it thaw a bit before I can crack into it. I may have lost a filling. 🦷

Here’s to hoping there is a match stain to Marvin’s “Cabernet”!
Though I have to admit, I kind of dig the contrast of the window and trim in this photo. Something to consider I guess.
