Paint + Lavender paint + lavender is a unique refurbished furniture shop. Every piece is hand selected, painted, and Hello! My life completely changed during my time there.

My name is Jessica Del Carmen and I am the creator of paint + lavender. Before beginning this new chapter, I was a student at Washington State University pursuing a bachelors degree in apparel merchandising. Yes, I was learning a lot about fashion and business, but what changed my life the utmost was finding my Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. After graduating in May of 2015, I moved to Cheney, WA t

o help out with a church plant for a church named Resonate. I quickly found a job in Spokane, WA as a visual merchandising leader. After a year of working there, I had realized my life was too consumed by my career. 10 hours of my day was being taken up by a job that didn’t really leave any lasting effect. My days were un-joyful and were flying by. Realizing this, I tried to figure out what brought joy to my life. I narrowed it down to a few main things: building relationships with others and refurbishing furniture. I have always wanted to work for a company where I knew I was making a lasting impression on the world. So then paint + lavender was created. I quit my job at Target and am now trusting the Lord will provide paint + lavender to flourish. Here I can now focus on creating beauty from pieces of furniture that were not wanted, and I can make them beautiful again. I can refocus on building relationships with others around me and have more free time to glorify The Lord in my daily activities. If you would like to know more about Resonate, go to resonate.net
