Sold this small entry way bench today. It was actually the front part of a set of school desks from a Chicago school. I sanded down the wood completely and just added a hydrating wax from Wise Oil to bring out the natural beauty of the wood.

My cute little farmhouse coffee table sold today! So much work went into this little oak table and I was able to enjoy it for years before it went on its way. I added two more coats or clear matte sealer on top so it's brand new. It's staying in Mokena so at least it's close by. ❤️

It's been a while but I'm finally in the mood to start posting projects again! 😊 Most of these new posts will be projects that I have already done but never posted. I'm starting with this cute Little Mermaid themed jewelry / storage box. A variety of techniques and supplies were used in making this and I love how they all came together. Furniture Re-do’s

I started refinishing furniture over 10 years ago when I was still in college. It began when I received some pieces from my Nana Hoffy and my Uncle. I loved the worn structures and memories behind the pieces; they just needed a little bit of my touch to give them new life. I had no idea my dislike for throwing away these used pieces would grow into what I’m creating today. I went to school for interior design so I have never had a specific style that I gravitate too since I love all design and can find beauty in most pieces. I’m definitely more eclectic in my design style and when I shop for any home décor it has to feel cozy and bring a sense of comfort to the space. This is why I borrowed my sister’s favorite phrase from college, Cozy Corner, when naming my business.
