A major milestone in the history of SBA Home North Carolina! 🎉 The long-awaited official opening of our factory — the largest Lithuanian business investment in the United States — has finally taken place in Mocksville! 🏭

With more than USD 70 million invested by SBA grupė, we have launched operations with around 100 employees and are already expanding 🚀 We are hiring for a second shift and planning to grow our team to approximately 250 people in the near future 👏

“Our focus now is on stabilizing operations and building strong local teams,” says Angelika Matczak, CEO of SBA Home North Carolina. “As we add shifts, we will continue to create new manufacturing jobs and invest in employee training to ensure the long-term success of the facility.”

Serving more than furniture! 🏓 Together with the Mayor of Mocksville, we proudly opened six new public pickleball courts – a gift from SBA grupė to the local community. Because we’re here not only to manufacture furniture – we’re here to be part of Mocksville!

The new courts are built to modern standards and open to players of all ages and skill levels. During the opening ceremony, SBA Home North Carolina CEO Angelika Matczak and the Mayor of Mocksville Will Marklin served the symbolic first ball and exchanged signed paddles – marking the start of what we see as a long-term partnership. 🤝

Growing future specialists! 🌱 At SBA Home North Carolina, we are proud to partner with Davidson-Davie Community College to deliver an Apprenticeship Program that creates real, hands-on career pathways for young talent in our region.

Participants split their time between working at our North Carolina furniture factory and studying mechanics and electronics at the college – gaining practical experience while building strong technical foundations.

This approach allows us to retain promising young professionals locally and, together with our academic partners, grow the critical skills our teams need today and in the future. 👨‍🎓

💡SBA Home has become the 11th employer to join the Davidson-Davie apprenticeship program.

We’re starting 2026 with a strong focus on safety and preparedness.

Our Safety Response Team at SBA Home in Mocksville recently completed the HSI Program in First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP), and Basic Life Support (BLS), helping ensure they’re ready to respond when it matters most.

At the same time, team members across the organization took part in fire extinguisher training in collaboration with the Mocksville Fire Department — a big thank-you to our local first responders for partnering with us and sharing their expertise.

Proud of our team for kicking off the new year informed, prepared, and looking out for one another. 💪🧯

We loved being part of the Mocksville Christmas Parade and bringing a little piece of "home" to Main Street! 🎄

Our SBA Home NC float featured a cozy living room scene, highlighting the shelving we manufacture every day and showing how the products we make become part of real homes and real moments. From the decorated shelves to the holiday details, it was a fun and creative way to share what we do with the community.

Huge thank-you to our amazing team who designed, built, and decorated the float—you helped turn creativity and craftsmanship into holiday cheer! ✨
