I've been training for cross country all summer and am getting really excited about the upcoming season! This year, to help pay for the cost of our sports, athletes are required to pay an athletic surcharge. To help raise the money for this fee and for the price of getting some good shoes, I decided to build a few benches. Suggested donation for each is $65 to pay for the cost of materials and help me still raise a bit of money. These are big enough to hold 2-3 people. Cross country at CCCB has helped me make new friends and to be in better shape than I ever had been before. Having Jason Poznich as my coach gave me a great opportunity to talk about preaching and ministry on trips and while we ran at practices, and these times together have been incredibly valuable to me.
These are unfinished, but made of pressure treated wood so they can be left outside as long as you want and should last you a very long time. You can paint them or put an oil finish on them or leave them as is. I have 4 made currently, but can make more if interest is there! If you would like me to build you something else to help support me in my cross country season, just let me know.
