Happy birthday to my boy....due to celebration lunch party running a little late, wasn't able to make it to the store by 12 as my published hours reflect, sorry if I missed ya! Evening hours at the store only today, open 4:30-8:30 today, and then back to normal hours tomorrow, 12-5 or so. Sorry if I missed ya, hope to see you again soon!

New reimagined statement piece of furniture that's just about ready for its forever home:

Vintage kidney shaped desk with 8 drawers - aesthetically this piece has been completely reimagined using a vibrant, unique, eye catching fabric applied with modge podge, and chalk paint in complimentary hues to create a stunning final result with on this vanity or dressing table / desk. There's some work left to be done with the paint to make it polished and pop, after which I will put the hardware on it, apply a couple coats of poly to protect it and make sure the desk really sing. As soon as it's dry and done, I'll post pics along with pricing info, so if you love this one, keep your eye out for that!

Some helpful FYIs if considering a larger item purchase:

Free delivery available on purchases of $175 or more, within a 25 mile radius of my store, so most of the furniture pieces I create qualify for free delivery! For other purchase amounts or distances, delivery can be arranged for a reasonable fee.

Also, I offer layaway on purchases of any amount, allowing customers to secure the one of a kind items they fall in love with. That way, there's time to budget it if necessary, spreading out the cost across up to 3 payments over the course of 3 months with no interest. I truly want everyone that falls in love with one of my artisan handcrafted statement pieces of furniture, that feels great in clothes that they look amazing in from my curated collection of preloved clothes and shoes to get to take them home, if paying in full immediately is the only impediment. The only products that are exempt and can't be paid for in payments are work done by local artists that I've got in my shop or e-store on consignment.

Don't hesitate to get your amazingly unique and beautiful statement piece of home or office furniture, while the weather is cooperating and the prices are right!

I have a couple of the cutest shoppe helpers a gal could ask for today, they definitely made my heart happy. Chip and Morty definitely helped me in a multitude of ways, I think I'm the one who won out when I offered to puppy sit while my pal Rachael Haesemeyer focused on her phone interview at her house down the street without distractions, even if they would have been cute distractions. Thanks for sharing the pups girlie, they are the best and did a great job hanging out at the store with me, they are welcome back anytime...

June evening project at work, needed to get out into the beautiful weather and take advantage of all that June has to offer when working for yourself, a maker, and when you have a perfect project to do. Stay tuned to find out what I'm doing with these and what they are going to turn out like.

Hope everyone enjoyed today's weather wherever you are as well, and really, it's all about perspective and state of mind anyways right? It can be a beautiful day anywhere and at any time with the right attitude, that's for sure. The inverse is very true as well, trying to stay mindful of that for myself personally as well as professionally so that I can really have this shoppe start to truly become the vision I have for it and all that it could encompass, far beyond just that which I personally could create or bring to life.
