Today we celebrate 10 years!
We're also celebrating Sampson joining us full time to eventually take over the business.
We are so blessed that Mo has been with us part-time for the last year and a half, re-gluing chairs, as well as other repairs and sanding before going to his full-time career in Chefery.

This milestone solidifies Richter & Sons as a true family business!

If you think an "old couch" is not worth reupholstering, I would disagree! They have "good bones," unlike new furniture. This beautiful, tailored couch was not only recovered in a very durable and gorgeous fabric, but we also added new legs with an additional 3". As we age, it is harder to get up from lower, um, places 😁, especially after knee surgery. Speaking of 2021 being a bit chaotic for me, they were extremely patient and were extremely happy with the makeover!

This wonderful customer and his wife have brought us many projects, but this might be my favorite! She created this beautiful needlepoint. So many of our arts and crafts are not appreciated for the skill and time it takes to create something pretty and so durable! The base is from a peddle-driven sewing machine, another beautiful touch! And I apologize for taking the after picture of the roses upside down 😚
