This piece was made out of material I salvaged from a building demolition back in late 90's (where the current turf and trail is located on route 45 /Swengle road ) . I originally thought it was chestnut but once I started working it I realized quickly that I was mistaken . I believe it is elm or possibly locust ... There are two locations on one of the legs where you can see where there had been nails which hints at its previous use.

I decided to donate this to the Camp Koala fundraiser gala . ( campkoala.org ) . I hope it does well to help raise funds for camps supporting grieving children.

Walnut and Danish cord bench . I worked out a few of the minor design changes from the first version of this bench and I am happy to say that I really like how this turned out. I'm looking forward to showing this in upcoming show season. I will also be making a version with an upholstered seat instead of the cording. ..stay tuned.
