Very interesting dining room chairs. I reupholstered the fronts in fabric from and the backs were done in beautiful rust colored velvet from
Original upholstery was very pretty to begin with, with pure printed linen. Unfortunately it didn't held up well to everyday sitting on it.

From rustic to refined! I love sharing stories behind the pieces I work on. These armchairs have been around since the 1940s, when my client's parents immigrated to the United States from Europe. What makes them truly special is the craftsmanship - all hardwood, horsehair lining, spring-backed, and feather-filled seat cushions. Having been reupholstered twice, it's incredible they've stood the test of time. Giving old furniture a new lease on life means future generations can enjoy them too.

Quality wins again! Just started on these stunning armchairs that are getting reupholstered for the second time, and it's easy to see why. The horsehair filled backs, arms and the decks, tiny marshall springs in the backs and in the seat cushions make them both durable and ridiculously comfortable. True investment pieces!

These Hepplewhite-style shield back chairs went off to their home today. A little TLC with new webbing and firm foam gave them the sturdy support they needed.

I've just finished working with the most gorgeous fabric, and I'm still reeling! My client chose Ditsy Amber (D4811) from , and I just can't get enough of it! It's eco-friendly, PFAS-free, and features a delightful blend of poly, cotton, and linen that made working with it an absolute joy. I whistled the whole time, no kidding! And, I got to discover the hidden history of this family heirloom chair, finding not one but two extra layers of upholstery. Let's just say I've discovered a new passion for archeology 😃 The final result is fresh, clean, and perfectly suited for the new season 🌼 🌱

Something I forgot to show off. Very retro, very groovy little settee from the 60's. I ditched the skirt and reupholstered it in beautiful bright new color. Who doesn't like orange? 🧡

It was an honor to work on these 90-year-old beauties. These petite parlor chairs are a testament to solid craftsmanship, featuring traditional joinery without a single nail or screw. They'll be treasured by the family for many years to come.
