Door is built and up on the coop. Krystin had fun watching me struggle with the door. It is pretty heavy and rather awkward sitting in between an uneven opening, but we got it to work. After that I laid down brick behind the door inside to prevent burrowing.

Managed to get another barrow of mulch in there. Alex promised to help get the rest this week. Just have to pick up some straw and bedding before we're all set for birds.

With Krystin's help we got the chicken wire finished on the surround. We tied it all together before I got the dirt all leveled off inside and dumped the first load of mulch. I'll be building the man door tomorrow and getting that hung.

Got a really good head start on the wire for the surround. Just got three more runs up top to finish and then build, build and hang the man door, tie all the wiring together, lay down the mulch, toss in some straw and bedding in the coop, and get some chickens...
