The vision of ap WoodWorks is to recycle wood through the detailed craftsmanship of home and patio décor. We are an eco-friendly family company that pays particular attention to the production process and its carbon footprint. The inspiration for this company comes from my father's wood workshop in Pinar del Río, Cuba. Due to the lack of materials and tools, my father had to ask friends, neighbors

and community members for help in order to get wood. Cuban artisan wood workers, such as my father, used decades-old furniture, broken wooden doors and basically anything else they could find as stock material to create new furniture. Despite their new appearance, each piece kept the history of its origin. At ap WoodWorks, we keep with my father's tradition of preserving the original appearance and integrity of the pallets and the cigar boxes we use. It is precisely this preservation that highlights the singular beauty of the wood's patterns and colors.
