Millie Gaines is a native New Orleanian and has been working in interior design for the past 8 years. She has studied Visual Art at Loyola University of New Orleans and has worked with Tara Shaw Ltd on several design projects. Her interest in Interior Design stems from her love of Art and her personal passion of creating a well designed home that lends itself to comfort and great style. Millie’s m

erges a business approach to a well planned design concept. This business plan approach starts with a customized packet of information that outlines each architectural accent, paint color, and furniture piece, along with a vast array of decorative elements. These items are personally selected to fit the client’s style and budget for their home or office. Millie is influenced by her exposure to the Crescent City’s wonderful antique stores, local artisans, plentiful art galleries and genuine artistic culture.

Take a look at the before and after pictures of this garage turned into Kids's Den. My original design concept was full of primary colors with an eclectic twist but the client wanted a more sophisticated space. I think the commissioned painting definitely elevates the room!
