This is a 1 Ton mini split AC. It can also do heat in the winter months. The unit is way quieter than a roof AC and draws alot less power. This is a good upgrade for anyone on a fixed income, less money out for power.

I mostly install these on RV units, with the occasional garage and shed install. These units do help with hot/cold spots in your house, shed, RV etc.

Most installs take less than a day. Feel free to reach out, to see if a mini split would be good for you.

Did a 1000 watt solar install. The 50 amp charge controller is reporting back over 4KW of power intake per day, on a clear day in Arizona anyways. 400ah of batteries, and an inline 2000 watt inverter/converter. Works great. It can run the AC depending on the solar intake etc.

This is a nice baseline system to get you on your boondocking journeys. This setup runs everything for a short time. The high draw appliances like the AC Microwave, would be best ran with a generator.

If you want full time AC from Solar, it would be about double this, and you can run one AC all day long, and a second off and on through out the day as the sun goes up and down. In Arizona.

All this is a rough baseline to help you gather your expectations around what solar can do.

I can install smaller, and larger solar systems, feel free to reach out, and we can see what works best for you.

This part is from an Onan 5500 Generator. It is the 12v high current stud block to send the 12v power from the generator into the coach batteries of the motor home.
The original issue stated from the customer, said that the generator would randomly turn on while driving the RV down the road. While I was diagnosing the issue, I came across this, a broken stud, on the stud block shown below. The negative side post broke off due to the grounding cable being just a bit to tight between it and where it was bolted to the RV frame.
I showed this to my client, and he walked into his garage and proceeded to fix the part. He found a same threaded brass bolt that matched the threads of the rest of the studs already there.
First he filed down the broken stud so that there was a flat spot. Then he drilled out the brass stud, then threaded it. We then screwed in the brass bolt that he had in his parts bin, cut the head off, and problem solved. Everything tightens up really nice. I would use this fix for my own RV if it ever comes up.
