Ely's Pierogi Festive Foods is a mobile food truck service that operates in Northwest Indiana. We specialize in making excellent homemade pierogi and sausage.

Festive Foods specializes in Eastern European cuisine and are known for producing some of the very best homemade pierogi in the Chicago/ Northwest Indiana area. We make our pierogies from scratch using all natural ingredients. Our customers are rediscovering the difference between the pierogis from their childhood and the mass produced offerings you find in the big grocery chains today. We invite you to come and discover that difference as well!

Good day to all our friends! Just a courtesy note to let you know 2 things:

-1) We customarily participate in the Shipshewanna On The Road craft show which is occuring this weekend at the Porter County Expo Center. Due to a busy schedule dealing with health and other life issues we weren't able to prepare in time for this weekend's show. Sorry for any inconvenience but we have good news:

2) We will be hosting an Easter Pierogi and Sausage Sale on Friday, April 3rd. Further details to come..

Good morning to all our loyal Pierogi fanatics! Courtesy note to let you know two things; We are returning to Pierogi Fest this year!!!, which also means we won't be at The Chesterton European Market tomorrow and next Saturday the 26th. Pierogi Fest runs July 25th through July 27th in Whiting Indiana. We will return to Chesterton on August 2nd.

Come join the crazy fun that is Pierogi Fest!!! We are expecting to be in our usual spot at the intersection of 119th St. and Central Ave.

Greetings to All our Pierogi Fanatics!

Tomorrow, May 3rd, is Opening Day for Chesterton's European Market!!! That's the good news. Unfortunately Ely's Pierogi will not be there due to a prior family obligation but will rejoin the market next Saturday, May 10th. We still encourage to come out and see what's new tomorrow.

The great news is that there will be many new vendors this season as the market committee has approved 175 market vendors for this season which is up significantly from last season! Add to that the wonderful brick and mortar shops lining downtown Chesterton and you have what is the best LOCAL shopping experience in Northwest Indiana.

So please come out, enjoy and meet and greet new friends in what has become the premiere community market around. We look forward to seeing you

Greetings to all our loyal family, friends and fans! We wanted to let you all know that although we have participated in the Shipshewana On The Road Christmas Craft Show at the Porter County Expo Center for many years we unfortunately won't be able to attend this weekend's show. A combination of events related to family loss and anticipated additions have taken over our lives at the moment. We are hoping, however, to have a private sale next Saturday at the church where we make our pierogi and sausage so please watch for more details.

As for this weekend's show we encourage you to come out and support our fellow vendors. Lastly, we do plan to return to the Shipshewanna Craft Show this spring so also watch for that notice sometime in February or March.

Greetings to all our family and friends on this eve of Pierogi Fest 2024!

It looks like there will be perfect weather for the fest. Ely's Pierogi, unfortunately, won't be attending this year as we, like others, are suffering from a labor shortage. We wish everyone going this weekend great (and safe) fun and much success to our fellow vendors. In particular, stop by and see the folks at the National Guard booth as well as Jill's Sweets & Treats who have been our fellow "neighbors" for many years.

If you can't make it to Pierogi Fest this year consider coming out to see us at our regular "home" at The Chesterton European Market in Chesterton Indiana. on Saturdays from 8am to 2pm. Shorter lines, same great pierogi (and other food trucks) and plenty of craft booths and the Indiana Dunes National Park just minutes away.

Hope to return to "The Fest" next year ....
