HAVE IT MADE: Custom Ideas, Brought to Life

When most people think of Northern Contours, they think manufacturing. But what really sets us apart happens long before anything reaches the production floor.

Recently, we partnered on a custom project for a Midwest-based law firm that shows what’s possible when creativity, collaboration, and the right partners come together.

It started with an idea from a contractor and evolved through close collaboration with our team. A few thoughtful engineering refinements helped elevate the design and push it beyond the expected.

The finished wall panels featured plain sliced maple veneer paired with a bold black matte edgeband, creating a striking contrast and a truly custom result. This project proves that even when a detail feels outside a standard system, it’s always worth asking the question.

More flexibility for your projects. Our Custom RTA Drawer Box lineup now includes flat pack drawer boxes made from prefinished birch plywood with dowel joinery.

Available in 7 heights from 3" to 12", widths from 6" to 48", and a standard 21" depth.

Prefer Miter Fold? Our white 3DL and TFL Miter Fold drawer boxes are still available in 3", 4", and 7" heights.

Both options ship flat, assemble fast, and are machined for undermount and side mount slides. Fast lead times. No minimums. Custom programs available.
