Most of you already know this, but for those who do not...and I apologize for being so long posting this... Leshia(peaches) lost her battle with her health, and passed on June the 9th of this year 2020. She loved each and every one of her customers, friends and family. She fought hard, but her little heart finally just gave out. Peaches store will be around in one form or another from time to time, as I try to keep her legacy going, but for now I am just trying to get past losing my best friend...Please keep her and me(Lee) in your prayers.

Sorry it has been so long since we posted...Peaches, has been dealing with still being very sick, and needs all your prayers!!!...also would like to let everyone know, we will have a couple of the SMALL freezers next week...there has been a shortage of freezers here lately as everyone is buying them and stocking up food...so far it looks like we will have a 5.0 cu.ft chest freezer, and a 3.5 cu.ft upright freezer, and possibly a couple more...so if your in need of a freezer check back here next week...hopefully we can get enough to help everyone out. Peaches seems to be doing very well...her incision is starting to close up nicely...she has even gotten around to cooking a couple of meals, which she hasn't done in a LONG time...man I STUUFFED MYSELF...it was soooo GOOD!!!!… She is having some problems with her blood pressure trying to go to high, but hopefully this will get sorted with her meds...she has good days and not so good days, but overall she seems to be doing OK!!!!

Peaches is home again!!! She seems to be doing well...we had to spend another 3 days in the hospital, but hopefully they got her straightened out this time!

For those of you who are following Peaches... She had to go into the ICU over at St. Vincents in Hot Springs...She ended up being septic from a perforated lower colon...she was pretty messed up, and they only gave her a 10% chance of surviving the surgery to remove that part of her colon, and to get her cleaned up inside...she came out of the surgery on life support for around 30 hours, but she woke up and started fighting them so they pulled the ventilator. She spent a few more days in ICU, then went to a regular room to recover for about two weeks...She is now home, and on the mend, but has to have a nurse check on her everyday...she had to briefly go back into ICU on Thursdays, because of dehydration, but she is home again, and doing ok...will keep posted on here about her progress.

It has been a while since we updated... PEACHES is still EXTREMELY sick with MALS disease. her pain levels are truly off the chart, and she is suffering very badly, every day... We are trying our best to get her into the Cleveland Clinic, or Emory in Atlanta, so she can have the surgery to correct her MALS...nobody in Arkansas will do it...we are having a holdup with Arkansas Medicaid, who keeps giving us the run around, and does not seem to want to help her...So we have posted a fund raiser to try and raise some of the money we need to get the Cleveland Clinic to accept her without Medicaid...so far we have raised $200.00 and are very grateful for those who have helped, and are very Thankful for those who are still praying!!!! Hopefully we will get this all resolved for the good for PEACHES, and get her well in the next few weeks, or months, and then we can get back to business, and try to reinvent our little store where we all can be happy again! GOD BLESS YOU ALL, and know that PEACHES and I miss you all!

Well we did not get good news from Peaches surgeon. Apparently he feels like he is NOT QUALIFIED enough to be able to operate on her and do her any good... SO...now we are going to have to start again... at least we still have the Diagnosis of what is wrong... MALS syndrome... but we are now going to have to figure out how to get her to an OUT OF STATE surgeon who specializes in this disease. Her Arkansas insurance is not recognized by any of them we have contacted so far, but we are currently trying to find financial help through some of the people who donate to help patients with their bills.. Most of the clinics want $10,000 up front, and then proof of another $50,000 in liquid assets before they will even consider her.... PLEASE PRAY THAT WE FIND AN ANSWER SOON... she needs this surgery very bad!
