Nice to give myself a little time in the shop to work on a plywood rocker that I had set down some time ago. Trying to wrap up some lingering projects.

Here is the plywood MemphisRocker next to the original. The new version sells for $385+ tax.

The 1st hour of cutting the MemphisRocker. Able to just squeeze in all the parts needed to make one rocker on a single sheet of baltic birch plywood.

They say a chair is the most challenging woodworking project there is. I can now say that it is compounded by being foldable, transportable, and conceived by a classroom of Lausanne 1st graders. Glad we were able to strike through the push button remote control criteria.
