The walnut oil finish is drying on a new batch of hand-carved bowls. These bowls and other woodcraft will be on display this Saturday for the annual Broad Avenue Art Walk. Also, artist Lori Young will have her work hanging on the gallery’s walls. Come pay us a visit between 11 AM and 5 PM.

This weekend I’ll be turning these cherry and white oak logs into hand-carved bowls at the Pink Palace Crafts Fair. The fair runs Friday through Sunday at Audubon Park in east Memphis. Hours are 10-6 Friday and Saturday, and 10-5 Sunday.

It's Saturday, the 5th of November! That means it's time for the Broad Avenue Art Walk. The rain is moving out, so plan to come spend a piece of your Saturday with us from 11 AM to 5 PM.

Here's a look at the guest artist you'll meet at Holmes Woodwork. Local artist Melanie Pyron opened an exhibit just last night at Off The Walls gallery, and today she's bringing her tireless self over to hang some work in our gallery.
