Many have asked what they can do to honor of our sweet mother. This is how we ask that you show her your love and respect. We are having a virtual blood drive. Please log in through this link, create an account if you are a first time donor, and make your appointment at any blood donation center in the country. Using this link will give her credit for the donation. The drive goes through the end of the year, so you all have time to give more than once!

Our sweet, sweet momma went to be with Jesus this morning, at about 5:10am. She was surrounded by loved ones, and God said, "Yes" to my prayers for her to pass with no pain and no suffering. She fought a hard fight against Acute Erythroid Leukemia, but she was ready to go to the arms of Jesus and leave that old body behind!
We are, of course, heartbroken, but thankful for the last two months of memories, tears, and laughter. The strongest, best, most beautiful woman that we ever knew has left this world a better place.
I will post arrangements as they become available. The blood drive is Sunday, July 6th, uin Millington, at Abandoned Antiques from 1pm to 5. I encourage everyone to donate! Blood and platelets from random strangers kept my mother alive and gave us so much precious time. We need to replace this blood in her honor! That's what she wanted. Of course, she always wanted to do for others!

In honor of our sweet mother, we are having a blood drive in Millington, at Abandoned Antiques, on Highway 51, Sunday, July 6th, from 1-5. Please sign up through the link below. Any blood type is welcome!
To give a quick update, Carlene is home with hospice at this time. She is hanging in there, but she is sleeping a lot. Please keep her in your prayers.

I just want to let all of our dear customers of Clay's Furniture Service know that Carlene Clay, our owner and matriarch has been diagnosed with Acute Erythroid Leukemia. She is in the hospital, but she is fighting! If you have done business with us, you know that she is tough, and she is no quitter!
We only ask for your prayers and your patience. Vera is keeping the business going, and, of course, Carlene is still involved over the phone, even from the hospital. It is an adjustment, but we aren't going anywhere!
We are trying to set up a blood drive in Carlene's name, so stay tuned for updates! Just keep her in your prayers in the meantime! We thank you all for 76 years of support for Clay's!!!
