When you do a deep clean on an antique piece of furniture, you get down into grooves and underneath places that people haven’t cleaned in 50 years or so. One of the things I like to do is clean the handles and k***s thoroughly… How many hands have opened these drawers? They had faded out pretty terribly, but they look really beautiful now. Finishing touches, attention to detail.
