ERC Community Warehouse Inc. We take used goods as donations and resell them for reuse! Recycling! Those materials are re-sold, at low cost, to those who need them.

The Eastern Rensselaer County Community Warehouse is a non-profit reuse center established to divert reusable discards from waste disposal. The organization accepts donations of reusable goods, which might otherwise be destined for a landfill or incinerator, from individuals, businesses and institutions. Donors benefit by avoiding waste disposal fees and earning a tax deduction for their donations

. Shoppers benefit by gaining access to quality, low cost goods. Resources are conserved, the need for additional landfill space is reduced, jobs are created...the entire community benefits! Come Join Our Team!

The ERC Community Warehouse is regrettably losing one of its most dedicated employees. While it is saddening for us to lose such a valuable individual, it creates an opportunity for you to join our team!

We are looking to fill Part-Time and Volunteer positions at our store in Melrose. Job duties would include accepting donations, cashing out customers and arranging/stocking shelves. The right individual would be friendly, reliable and organized.

Our store is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with flexible hours for one, or all three days. We welcome people of all ages to apply.
