Hello! I hope this finds everyone in great health and having a good summer. It certainly has been challenging for Us. Many of you know our daughter Jessica went into the hospital and this has delayed our opening as planned in July.
Jessica is on the mend and spending all her time these days with Emilee. We are thrilled to see them having fun.
I have returned to New Jersey and it will take a few weeks to reopen the store. You may have noticed the Christmas theme wall has been painted and we have much to do to open the doors. We are anxious to see everyone again after Labor Day. We will post our reopening date as we near the end of the month. In the meantime please contact me through messenger .

On the subject of moving... 2 great examples of under-staging. Know what your rooms best features are and take advantage of the focal feature in your room. The room on the left has a fireplace that recently had a surround built painted a soft gray against a golden-beige look gives the room a classic look. Let your paint cure for 2 or 3 days before staging it. You wouldn’t want your decor sticking to your new mantle. Do not over decorate the mantle. Candlesticks or a favorite object with a painting proportioned to the room or mirror will look great.
The room on the right is over-staged with the oversized chairs. Remove the chairs and use a pair of smaller chairs, or ottomans. Also take advantage of the fireplace and hang a picture that captures the feel of the outdoors and draws in the potential buyer . Also take advantage of the table top and place flowers and information about your home. Don’t forget some buyers are new to the area. Look around your area for brochures that tell your potential buyer what the area has to offer. Also if you have a favorite house cleaning company, landscaper or any other local services that makes their transition easier include this info. Don’t forget to include activities for the kids and information about the local school and maybe a club or group for mom and dad.
I firmly believe no one knows your home or area better then you and no one wants to sell your home as much as you do. So get involved and put together a marketing packet! Good Luck!
