The Latest Buzz: A little worker bee told us that the first round of the 2014 honey crop has been collected from our Blaze Fork hives and will be at the McPherson Farmers' Market this Saturday morning.

Stop by and get some raw, local honey this Saturday at the McPherson 4-H Fairgrounds located next to the McPherson County Extension Office on Woodside.

We checked on some of the bees this afternoon. They're still busy making honey!

Have you checked out the McPherson Farmers' Market?

It's open from 7:30 to noon on Saturdays at the McPherson fairgrounds (next to the McPherson County Extension Office) on the 600 block of Woodside.

It's well worth a trip for some beautiful, local produce!

Honey is great. But honey on some warm whole wheat toast is greater!

Be sure to visit Alive & Well in Kansas to enter their Wheat Harvest Best Guess currently happening. The winner gets some Kansas goodies that would go great with honey!
