The Dovetail collection bedroom from Vaughan-Bassett Furniture Company is available in four finishes.

Made in the USA by over 500 craftsmen and craftswomen in our factory in the Virginia mountains using American Oak solids and Oak veneers. The dominant design feature is the dovetail, a wood joinery technique dating back thousands of years and which we display prominently near the top of each bed post, front top rim of each case piece, and all four corners of each mirror. This collection is designed for those who appreciate a natural reclaimed wood look. The splits, cracks, knots, and bold grain pattern is achieved through ATAP™ technology (Accelerate the Aging Process). Until now only Mother Nature could make wood look this good.

Dovetail bed features a 5” solid white oak post joined at the top rail with dovetail joints. Shown with the signature footboard featuring solid white oak 6 x 6 inch square timbers. 🕊️

Here's something most people don't think about until it's too late: barstool height actually has a formula. 🪑

For a comfortable seat, you want about 9 to 13 inches between the top of your stool and the underside of your counter or island. Counter height surfaces (36") need a counter stool. Bar height surfaces (42") need a bar stool. They're not interchangeable!

Save this before you shop so you don't end up with stools that don't fit. 📐
