I always love doing Personal Orders with pieces that have a back story for a family. I made this bench out of a Headboard and Footboard for a couple. It was their daughters childhood bed and she died in a car accident when she was a teenager. They held onto it all these years cause they never wanted to get rid of it. It took up too much room so they wanted to repurpose it so they could carry on her memory. She loved how it turned out and doing pieces like this and seeing their reaction reminds us why we enjoy what we do.
