I just delivered this cabinet I painted with Rethunk Junk by Laura paint in Slate and True Gray to it’s new home. It will be used as a linen closet in a bathroom. Love the way it came out! My client hasn’t seen it yet, but her husband said she would love it.

It seems forever since I’ve been able to post. I’ve been consumed working on my new house. Lots of repairs to do, but I wanted to take a moment to share this beautiful headboard I had the opportunity to paint a few months ago. The wall has now been painted a beautiful grey for the headboard to shine against. I hope you enjoy it. It’s such a pleasure watching my clients dreams come true.

I had the opportunity to paint a headboard for a coworker a couple of weekends ago. It was a cream color and didn’t go with the decor in her guest room. I used RTJ in Cloud with two coats of RTJ Flat Top and it came out perfect. The wall in back will be painted gray to make the bed pop.

I’ve been creating some lovely sea glass bottles using Rethunk Junk by Laura Peacock Feather mixed with Salt Wash and water. I’ve added some seashells using Iron Orchid Designs Seashell mould and jute string. Now I need to add some sea grass to finish them and they’re ready for my booth. Stay tuned for more bottle art.

Rethunk Junk by Laura Paints recently started selling SaltWash paint additive and it is now stocked in my booth A607 at Lone Star Mercantile, along with the LookIdeas pamphlets on its use.
