This Berkey and Gay sideboard with its gorgeous spindle legs turned out exactly as I hoped. I wanted a dark , rich stain that fits its original period and dark walnut did not disappoint! This sweet little chest came to me with a thick orange varnish and Eastlake style drawer pulls. The top and drawer fronts are solid walnut and the case and drawer boxes rock maple. Super sturdy! I stripped it, lightened it for uniformity, and stained in a light, warm brown. The vintage brass bail pulls are simple and perfect, as is the sweet paper in the drawers! Perfect for a nursery, entryway or actually anywhere. Available: 42Lx20Dx34H.

I love the dark chocolate and brass tones together! I couldn’t pass up this vintage style set of oversized side tables. Some repairs and color later and we are ready for a new home. Or are we?! Because I can see them in my house!! 34Hx21Dx31L. Available!

Photos do not do this early 1800’s hand built French style cabinet justice at all!. Solid oak frame, hand planed drawers and hand cut dovetails all speak off her history! The top is covered in stunning walnut burl along with the 4 large doors, who have brass inner bolt-action style latches and locks. All doors and drawers are in working order, including all locks, with the original key with her. The feet are beautiful ball and claw and after a good clean and touch up, she’s ready to serve again.

This vintage 1964 Davis Furniture Company dresser started with some clunky, fussy details and a heavy glazed finished that hid its natural beauty. Boasting a 1.75 inch thick solid cherry top, it has a stalwart quality that is not found anywhere today. I removed the details, stripped to old finish and mixed a dye stain to get this beautiful tone that lets the grain shine through. I love the brass hardware with backplates and the whimsical chinoiserie cranes in the drawer wallpaper. The bright, direct sunlight this morning is showing it a bit lighter in videos but it’s a perfect warm, medium brown.
