Our Story

Low Country Metal and Wood is owned and operated by Roger and Ellie Brabham in Yonges Island, SC. It has been in existence since 1992 but was officially founded in 2009 by Roger and Ellie. Roger is a carpenter by trade but also has had a life long interest in metal working and the welding process. He grew up in the Low Country on the Stono River. Ellie spent her career in Broadcasting, National Sales and Administration, and also grew up in the Low Country. After retirement in 2015 she began working full time with Roger at Low Country Metal and Wood.​Examples of what we do, consist of; one off pieces, custom, re-purposed and abstract pieces. The media used is sheet metal, old metal ,salvaged items and found wood.
