Here is another little odd table. It has a flared curve top and curved sides. I have lugged this thing from GA and all around Ky for 11 yrs and decided it needed a makeover so gone is the ugly chipped black, yellow, beige, purple and yes lime green paint…yall there was some many layers of paint on this thing it was unreal! But I was determined and I got it back down to the wood but due to some damage that had to be repair I decided to paint it and yes RED was the winner. Some pretty paper to line the bottom because the inside should shine as much as the outside….here she is.

I like to say that every piece of furniture needs a story to tell. This table started out as a plain flat black table, nothing about it was exciting it was just a table that you stuck a lamp on and it took up space. But it needed a story and an adventure…so it got a new coat of dove grey paint then it got some age on it with distressing and dry brushing. Then it got flowers but from a long lost love or maybe a new one. It went to Paris and picked up some decals and finally it got some memories from all over the world. So now when this table finds a new home it will have a story to tell because it is now one of a kind. It is not perfect nor should it be because life is not perfect and if it was perfect what stories would it have to tell?

It is 25 inches wide x 18 inches deep and 29 inches tall. If you are looking for that odd piece of furniture to liven up a space this lady maybe what you are searching for.

I love odd furniture because they are the pieces that should really stand out. This little table is an odd one and I love it’s quirkiness. The lady I purchased it from called it a quilting table, the arms fold out and fabric is draped over them so you could embroidery or do hand stitching for a quilt. We stripped away all the old paint, stained the top, painted the body Pumpkin Spice, applied some transfers and protected it with Clear Gloss varnish. She is a pretty little thing.

Have you ever had a project that you were sure was not going to take you long and you could knock it out of the park with no problem??? And then EVERYTHING goes wrong. I have wanted to throw this piece on the burn pile more times then I wanted to count … it has been a nightmare from the word go…but she is a beauty now. Dixie Bell Cranberry made this little desk stand out, we added a built in power strip so that it can be a functional piece of furniture. USB ports in the power strip makes this a nice charging station…
