This piece had already lived 2 lives - originally red/orange, my client painted it, but was craving something more modern and pottery barn inspired. Cutting the base, removing the finish, and shellac-ing before new stain, got us to her inspo.

It was a lot of work to remove all the gray paint, but she loves it!

Goodbye millennial gray and hello to the (current) pottery barn style.

I loved helping this client fall in love with her furniture again! It was a sturdy piece, that she’s had for 20 years and was in good condition. But was ready for its 2nd makeover.

Just in the nick of time, here’s my entry to the .home “glammorati” challenge

This set ended up being more work than expected, since it was plastic, laminate, and mdf/particle board. I pulled off the 1980s chipped plastic, filled with bondo, and used retique to add a wood look base and top. Completed the look with brand new champagne gold hardware.

Beautiful oversized nightstands ready for a new home!
