Hey y'all! As we reach the end of my content creator week with The Chippy Barn I wanted to finally share the before and after of this sweet dresser! It put up a real fight with some bleed-through but I finally reigned it in! I absolutely loved working with this paint! I decided to brush it on (with my Zibra Paint brush of course) so I could really get a sense of how it brushed, leveled and dried. It brushed like a dream and virtually no brush strokes! I seriously don't know why it took me so long to try this ceramic-based paint but it will definitely be added to my regular rotation!

I used the color "garden swing" on this piece and it's such a gorgeous blue/green/grey. It definitely depends on the light which color it throws. She was sealed with The Chippy Barn's ultra-tough top coat in flat and it also brushed and leveled like a dream. It really made the whole process of painting then repainting after fixing the bleed-through quick and easy. Overall ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ would recommend all day every day! This petite, vintage dresser has been given a shabby chic update! It is solid oak and has been painted in milk paint in a gorgeous pinky-peach custom color. It has a chippy distressed finish for a farmhouse or shabby chic look. It was then sealed to resist further chipping. The beautiful oak top and back panel have been sanded down and given a light stain before being sealed.

This adorable dresser has been cleaned and is in excellent structural shape. The drawers feature dovetail joints and slide perfectly.

This one-of-a-kind piece is the perfect size for a kids room or playroom but would also look great in any room for some extra storage.

Dimensions: 28" W x 18" D x 44" H (including 1.5" back panel)

I love this little peachy cutie! She was painted in milk paint in beach rose with a hint of dusty yellow for a subtle, sweet peach color. I tinted the raw wood top with a very diluted custom stain and I love how it turned out! I'm still trying to convince my husband to let me keep it 🤣 @ Springfield, Virginia

I woke up one morning and decided we just had to have a cedar chest to hold our blankets so here we are! It was a subtle change in the end but the outdated orange needed to go! I planned to keep this cutie bare wood so I sanded it all the way down but it ended up being too pale 🤦‍♀️. I warmed it up with a mix of flagstone and golden oak. No more orange! @ Springfield, Virginia

This adorable vintage dresser has been given a much-needed update! It has been painted in a gorgeous light grey and the feet have been sanded down to raw wood, sealed and given a light white wash.

It has been cleaned and is in excellent structural shape! The drawers feature dovetail joints, have been lined with a cute floral liner, and slide great.

This piece would work well in any room! It is a great height for a sideboard, media stand, entryway piece, or just as a dresser!

Dimensions: 46" L x 23" D x 36" H

Pickup in North Springfield or delivery available for a fee.

I love this fun grey dresser! It's top 3 drawers were rebuilt by whoever owned it before and the bottom 2 drawers and top required some veneer removal but it brought out that beautiful grain hidden underneath. It also has 4 decorative legs rather than just the front 2 so that took a ton of sanding but they look great naked with a white wax wash! It was painted in the color chance of rain by Behr, dressed up in new hardware from D. Lawless Hardware and the drawers have new fun liners from RoomMates Decor.

This was one of those pieces that looked pretty straight forward at first but then starts throwing curveballs at every step. But it was worth it! I asked instagram which color it should be and light grey barely won out. Now she's a beaut!
