Some designers spend their whole careers hoping to be featured in the magazines Darlene's work has already appeared in.

Darlene has been in kitchen and bath design since 1992. Her work has been featured in the Southern Living Design Home and countless Parade of Homes projects over the years. She was also featured in an article on a historic Knoxville loft renovation project that she designed in the Kitchen and Bath Design News Magazine. Her current role with Maryville Top Shop is the lead designer in commercial and contract design.

This Holston Hills kitchen was designed to feel like it had always belonged in the home. The rainforest quartzite, a natural stone quarried in Brazil, was honed and cut specifically for the space. Oak micro shaker cabinets with a subtle bevel and a two tone color palette bring everything together while staying true to the home’s mid century modern character.
