As I regularly do, I spotted an outdoor wood set on the side of the road. A loveseat, 2 chairs and the side table. Perfect for restoration. Then I got it home and realized it's made of solid teak. The brass tags are still on each piece! This exact team set sells for well over $1,000 when purchased new. Come Spring it will be a great project to bring it back to its former glory.

This was a great project. A nice lady here in Maryville posted an Eagle Claw Oak Dining Table with a huge center expansion for free, just pick it up. Sabrina, being the perfectionist she is, refinished the massive top of the table 4 times before she was happy with the results.

We consigned the table with our friends at Louisville Mercantile. It didn't sell quickly, but made for a beautiful piece in their showroom. A nice couple, I don't say older because, well, I'm older, purchased the table but needed it delivered. We did so and it has made for a wonderful addition to their home.

Once again Sabrina produced a sensational piece of lasting beauty and durability. The Morning Dance Studio Rocks!!!

In 2021 I was wandering around Alcoa, TN after picking a couple of items that Melanie asked me to grab. There was a Broyhill dresser made of beautiful solid wood, but it was absolutely destroyed from years of having junk and oils placed on the top in a garage.

I flipped it into the van and brought it home. Sabrina's Morning Dance Studio is where used and abused come back to life. I say it often because it's true, Sabrina has a unique and incredible talent and artistic vision for every piece she works on.

Those who saw the piece, the top in particular, thought I was nuts for even picking it up. But, as you can see, she doesn't just focus on the outside of a piece. She ensures that every surface is restored, inside doors and drawers decorated and any broken or missing pieces are replaced or repaired.

Since the start of the New Year Sabrina and I have been in our respective shops. My oldest Daughter, Brooke, asked for a beach themed Beach Birdhouse. As usual CRDC did the structural design and built the house.

But, no project is truly imaginable until Sabrina's Morning Dance Studio gets busy. When Brooke, Jeff and Aurora saw these pictures of the final piece they immediately named it the Jimmy Buffett Beach House. Sabrina's finish and artistic design ideas come from her brilliant creativity along with her heart. We hope you like what came from our shops.

Christmas 2023 was the opportunity for Sabrina to design new finishes for two styles of our Christmas Cathedrals, a new Fantasy Christmas Bird House and for us to create two 12 Days of Christmas candle boards. All were gifts for family and/or friends. The two tall Cathedrals were painted by Sabrina in the Ferguson Tartan. The Morning Dance Studio is known for the spectacular creations that emanate from Sabrina's brilliant mind. The 22 Days of Christmas boards are walnut, from a 100+ year old tree that was cut down across the street from our house. So very proud and pleased with how everything turned out, and the joy they all brought to their recipients.

Sabrina and I try to salvage as many pieces of furniture as we can. The restored items that come out of her Morning Dance Studio are, to say the least, incredible.

Case in point. We grabbed this chest of drawers off the curb here in the College Hill Historic District. After months of cleaning, stripping down and deciding what to do with the finish Sabrina revealed this beautiful piece. She's been thinning out some of our favorite paints from Louisville Mercantile and created her own stains. Sabrina never fails to amaze me with her devotion to perfection and quality pieces of old turned new furniture.

Our latest inspired design is a Haunted Key West Crab Shack. While I designed and built the caddywampus structure, Sabrina gets all the credit in the World for the creative artistic finish of this incredible piece.
