Have you been to Marshall, Va? When you schedule an appointment to come see the Bella Villa rentals collection, you should make it a bigger outing. Add time for coffee & sweet treats, lunch or dinner. And you should visit Vintage Frost Street Collective
La Racine and our thrift shops too. People ask me where I get the pieces in my collection… many have come from right here in town. 😉

An Italian Serenade: I may never be a film producer with work like this, and my romantic cousin Gianpaolo won’t be entering singing contests any time soon, but his serenade to Natalie was just about the sincerest expression of adoration I’ve seen outside of a Hollywood RomCom. Far more charming in person than I was able to capture here, La Serenata is another tradition we should adopt for weddings in America, especially if it includes a toast at the end with multiple trays of pastries and bottles of Prosecco!

Upon entering the reception space, I styled this area as a guest book sign-in and gift drop… if you walk around the other side, the sweetheart table is enveloped by the same gate so the screen serves dual purpose. A lovely way to stretch decor dollars.

If you follow my account, you must love vintage stuff. If you live near northern Virginia, you must go to the Spring Fair in Berryville at the grounds. So much incredible inspiration!!! So much great stuff!! So many of the vendors have shops and spaces here in Northern Virginia and surrounding areas, but many drive in from miles around with stuff PRICED TO SELL, especially on this last day! Totally WORTH the $20 entry fee. There’s just something about the displays and the energy and being surrounded by that much wonderful vintage stuff! Here are some of my favorite things and vendors that caught my eye. Not to mention these fabulous leather chairs from long time industry friends ! Help me name the chairs please!
