We also offer caning, rush, splint, veneer, upholstery, and furniture repairs. Item's for sale include American, European, Russian, Irish, Hungarian and German furniture and pottery.

Sand Hill Ant., & Refinishing will be closing as of October 1st. This decision was made for personal and health reasons. It has been a long and sometimes trying 16 years. I hope I have left mostly, if not all, happy customers in my wake. I am currently finishing up a few last jobs and will be in the area until November at least. Hello my FB fans. According to Governor Hogan's speech this morning, all non-essential businesses are to be closed by 5pm today. Sand Hill falls into that category. One bright spot, looks like I have some time for my elbow to heal. Not so bright, I am not eligible for unemployment.

I know there are ALOT of people in the same position.
We all need to call upon our American spirit, no one is impervious to this virus.
Let us all be strong, follow the guidelines, hopefully this can be nipped in the bud before it is too late.

Went to the world premiere of ‘The Undeparted’ filmed at my shop, Sand Hill Antiques. I’m sure by the name you see it is about spirits.

It was held in Pennsylvania at the Indie Shorts film festival. Has won Many awards at other film festivals such as Florence, Italy , Los Angeles and Austin Texas, more to come, hopefully in Maryland.🙂
