JSK Inc. JSK does Custom Woodworking in SW Florida. Working out of beautiful Marco Island. I also manufactur JSK is a double business. My main work is Custom Woodworking.

That being, built ins, wall units, furniture, built in closets, and boat interiors. I also manufacture the best lock tor sliding patio doors, the Deerfield Patio Door Lock. It was developed by my father, and I took over the business when he passed. Recently started building a hidden compartment shelf. Custom sizes and finishes are available.

Along the way the owner decided he would like a foot rail on the bar cabinet. With the tight curve on the end the price to have someone Bend a 2” aluminum tube was crazy expensive, so I am making one out of wood.
1/8” strips are bent around a form after being soaked in warm water for a couple hours. 12 strips total. I removed all the strips when dry, and now I am glueing the together one at a time. When they are all glued up I will use a large router to form a 2” diameter round foot rail.
Thought people would be interested in seeing what goes into building a Custom Cabinet. I just don’t run out and buy a bunch of parts and throw it together..... I build one piece at a time.

Work in progress. I built this bar and wall cabinet for a customer about 8 years ago. He decided he want to change it so now I am rebuilding it.
I raised the curved bar section about 12 inches and cover the whole thing with maple veneer. On the serving side ther is a 3 step curved bottle storage area, trash can pull out with a small drawer above and a small storage cabinet on the right side.
The wall cabinet will be about the same, but 6 inches tall and over all about 6 inches wider. More pictures to come....

White oak TV cabinet. TV is on a pull out swivel. Lower cabinet has pull out shelves and pull out drawers, all on full extension sliced. Upper cabinet, LED lights on a dimmer. All shelves are adjustable. Owner very happy.
