You know me as the hardworking, female founder of . But it’s time to love on the men who help make it all happen. Seriously, these trucks don’t unload themselves. The flowers don’t magically appear. And that heavy ass mirror on the wall didn’t hang itself. Thank you to the beautiful men folk who support me and show up week after week, year after year. The true believers. The good ones. Bauhaus B35 tubular chrome and rattan lounge chair by Marcel Breuer for ICF, 1970s. It’s hard to imagine that a piece this handsome could also be comfortable, but that’s good design for ya. Let’s just hope your cat doesn’t use it as a scratching post 🐈‍⬛ Chair now available for $1850. Excellent condition.

There are nice vintage pieces. And then there are GREAT pieces. This midcentury Danish teak credenza by Falster falls into the later. The look, the construction, and the details are exceptional. How can you tell? Well, check the drawers for dovetails—corners that notch together, rather than being glued or fastened with hardware. Next, examine exposed edges. Here, we have thick veneers of fine hardwood over furniture-grade plywood, versus thin layers adhered to chipboard. Then there’s the back panel, which is fully finished in teak, unlike most case goods which use lesser quality woods on parts that typically go unseen. This baby has all the hallmarks of quality, and it’s yours for the taking . Well, for a price of course 😉 Dims: 54”w x 28.5”h x 19”d; $2800.

Monday morning de-stress with these two fuzzers at home 🏡 Like many retailers, who work weekends, Monday is my day off. Grocery shopping, school runs, and appointments usually get in the way, but I try to chill, even if it’s just for an hour. Pet snuggles help.
