In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene that made landfall on September 27, 2024, in the Augusta-Richmond County and Georgia communities, Leeder Furniture, LLC, a leading provider of commercial furniture for college campuses, is stepping up to support Paine College. The company has announced a commitment in the amount of $35,687 to Paine for furniture that will be installed in a Residential Hall that was scheduled for a makeover. We are so for their support. A True Partnership

Paine College’s campus took a direct hit from Hurricane Helene. The school experienced severe damage to many of its academic buildings and residence halls, and lost too many trees to count. Paine College and Leeder Furniture have had a long-standing relationship that has grown to more than just another college buying furniture from just another furniture company.

In support of our close relationship, Leeder Furniture has pledged over $35,000 to help put the campus back together again. When asked why Leeder Furniture stepped up in this manner, Tom Dewane, Leeder Furniture’s President said, “our goal with this donation is to return a feeling of home for the students by getting the campus back to normal.”
