Our meeting for the month of August will be held on Thursday the 8th at 7:00pm. We will be recieving a demonstration on woodturning techniques from Bob Holcum. The meeting will be held at 3609 Anderson Avenue, Manhattan KS.

The Manhattan Area Woodworkers Club will be holding its monthly meeting on April 11th at 7:00 pm. There will be a presentation by Charley Pottroff, a local tree cutter and saw mill operator. The address is 3609 Anderson Avenue in Manhattan. There are two orange cones at the beginning of the drive way. Please stop by if you are interested.

KQWA Annual Fall Picnic for members at the Keats Park Pavillion on September 24th from 5:30 pm until 8:30 pm. New this year: There is a grill on the premises, the club will provide the charcoal and grilling tools. If you would like, please bring something to grill or a prepared entree and a covered dish to share with others, as well as your own table service. Iced Tea/Water and Vanilla Ice Cream for dessert will be provided. Please RSVP to me so we have an accurate count.

Our next meeting will be at the Keats Park Pavillion on May 12th at 7:00 pm. We will be having a short presentation on Techniques of Carving presented by Wilbur Coffee.
