Julianne drew her favorite bluey character on paper and we converted it into a digital file to laser cut some earrings! Once cut, she did some painting and we put some hooks on! She did great.

Wrapped up this project for work recently. Turned out awesome. New floors, new stairs, new dry bar and floating shelves.

I’ve got the week off from my day job. Good opportunity to get some work done in the Chris Craft. I got a coat of white on the sides and transom. Look at the shine in that b***y!!

I lost my mojo awhile back so I’m finally getting back into the Chris Craft. I spent the day sanding the starboard side, cleaning and painting as well. It was a long but productive day. Topsides have two coats now and 2 more to go. Then I can work on the decks and in the bilge.

Doesn’t look like much but I finally cleaned my lathe area. It’s been awhile since I’ve seen the floor.

Anyone have any interest in some cutting boards? I have a few more that are not shown as well. large boards are 24”x14” and $90. Small boards are 16”x11” and $50. All are slightly different, some have juice groove, some have rubber anti-slip feet, some can use both sides, some only one, Etc. message me for more info.

Great Memorial Day weekend, took it easy, and didn’t hurt myself which is a plus. I was able to wash up the Adirondack Guideboats yesterday and they sure do look pretty. I also managed to do some painting on the Chris-craft today.

I bought my trailer in 2013 around the same time that I officially launched my woodworking business, I think it was April. I’ve put a lot of miles on this thing. I’ve done a ton of art and craft shows, hauled tons (literally) of wood pellets to heat our home and wood shop, helped move people, moved ourselves, slept out of it for almost two weeks and countless other tasks and chores. While I’m no longer doing art and craft shows and have significantly scaled back my business, I am still operating TJGwoodworking as a hobby based business. I run the business a bit differently now since I don’t rely on it for income and can focus more on what I want and when I want. After 6 years, I finally performed the first bit of maintenance to my trailer. New wheels and tires, new trailer jack, new electrical, several new bulbs/lights. This is the start of a new chapter. The left hand tire in the first photo shows how I feel after 6 years of trying to get a business off the ground. Old, worn out, tired and maybe starting to bald a little? Now, I am hoping to spend more time on the things that matter, explore my artistic and creative passions, take care of myself, my family, and spend more time in my shop on my terms. This also includes taking the time to perform the required maintenance to my tools and equipment rather than pushing it and abusing it! Once I complete the massive Chris craft boat restoration, I should be delving into some cool projects. @ Manchester Center, Vermont
