Rafael Oganyan is a professional antique furniture restorer in the greater Boston area. He is trained in French Polish, structural modification, marketry and architectural engineering. Rafael got his start as an independent contractor in 1992. Three years later he began working at "A Room With A Vieux Antiques",
one of Boston's leading French antique importers specializing in furniture from the 1

8th and 19th century. Since 1999 Rafael has been working in his studio in Malden, MA,
serving most antique stores on Charles Street and in the South End, as well as Essex and Martha's Vineyard. His professionalism, attention to detail and work ethic make him a favorite among his Boston clientele, which ranges from interior and architectural designers to celebrities. However, in the end, its the quality of his work that keeps them coming back.

This 1931 Philco radio had to be taken apart. After that the pieces were refinished to it's original glory. A clear finish was put on to really bring out the beauty of the wood.
