Grit & Grain Co. We specialize in custom furniture and would love to help with whatever woodworking, building, and design needs you might have. Grit & Grain Co.

was established in 2015 by Devin LaLonde and Dan Crosby, who decided that building things together would be more fun than building things alone. They formed G&G, a woodworking company specializing in custom furniture, with the intent to provide customers with quality craftsmanship that will stand the test of time, created with locally sourced materials, including salvaged and rescued lumber from right here in Central Florida.

A 16" saw blade makes easy work of this 3" ash hardwood.

We have 400 board feet of 12/4 ash to rip. This material will become two massive 70" x 70" coffee tables.

Clean lines and Ash grain.

​Adding a chamfer to the top edge of our latest project. We love Ash for that deep, tactile texture and the way it handles almost any stain color we throw at it.

​Final sanding is next, then it’s time for color. Stay tuned for the reveal.

We spotted this walnut slab at our supplier years ago and knew it was special—it just took us a while to find the right moment to make the first cut.

​In this clip, Dan is dialing in those radiused ends with surgical precision using the before we move into that deep bottom chamfer. The profile on this thing is starting to look incredible.
