Meet the designer behind the project: Lindsay Nelson, Senior Designer with Dream House Dream Kitchens.

This client wasn’t looking for a major overhaul of their primary bathroom, but instead for small changes that improve functionality and fit their design wish list. Much of the existing framework was maintained, except for the shower and tub area. Replacing the pre-existing corner whirlpool bath with a two-person soaking tub opened up the space for a larger, wet-room-style shower. The cabinetry in the double-vanity was also extended to a depth greater than a typical vanity to accommodate a product ledge behind the sink.

Lindsay describes the overall design of this space as transitional with modern elements and a coastal vibe. An elegant entrance is centered on a semi-flush light fixture, coated in satin brass with crystal features for an elevated touch. Shaker-style Santorini blue cabinets are simple and sleek, smartly contrasted by more satin brass accents. The wood-look herringbone floors are heated to maintain the room’s luxurious essence with high-class functionality and living.

Intentionally planning the layout and design of this space to create a room that is inviting yet luxurious is one of Lindsay Nelson’s strengths.
