More bike parts. I didn’t show the greasy shots; these were nasty when I got them. Please clean your parts the best you can and completely disassemble everything so I can not only clean and polish real well, but I can rinse the parts well when I’m done. I have a really nice customer building a Harley in such a way so that he can spend more time riding and less time cleaning it. These wheels were not in bad shape but had oxidized and lost their shine. I became a factory trained Cerakote applicator two years ago. Cerakote MC-5100 was engineered for all alloys of aluminum and magnesium. It’s completely UV stable so it won’t yellow or haze and it’s extremely chemical resistant. I coated these wheels after v***r honing. No more fighting to remove brake dust, grease or grime. Cerakote, the world leader in thin film ceramic coatings was an obvious choice for Rocket V***r Honing to partner with to offer our customers additional high tech solutions for projects or production.

Yamaha RD 400 parts. Always wanted one of these little 2 stroke twin road bikes. This guy is doing a full restoration. The enclosed fins on top of the head presented no challenge at all for v***r honing. No surface degradation, no damage to mating surfaces or important markings, just really clean. A good part of my work is industrial work. These copper sleeves hold pressed in graphite molds for casting copper. The outside fits into a hub where water cooled by liquid nitrogen passes through the channels on the outside. These get really hot! These are not greasy, the discoloration is where contaminants in the water were burned onto the surface. How do you remove surface contaminants with no surface degradation or change in critical dimensions? It’s what I do and it’s exactly why this technology was developed. I do the work every day, I’m just not good about posting my work.
I do some work for an Austin Healy/ early British car restoration shop. SU carbs were found on many early British cars. They work great and can look great after v***r honing. Often, you open the hood, everything looks new except the aluminum parts. I can fix that. No paint, no chemicals, no surface degradation. Just outside of Madison, NC.

This intake had been sandblasted before it was brought to me. It was rough on the surface and did not produce the shine the customer had hoped for. I got this. Now my customer has a beautiful intake and valve covers. Once I v***r hone parts, the clean, smooth surface I leave is much easier to keep clean. Just outside of Madison, NC. I often work on machine parts also. This a nice mix of aluminum and steel parts showing what can be accomplished on different materials. One of my really good customers needed some work done on some parts for one of his display engines. He has quite the car collection and quite the garage. This is an oil filter assembly for an early Austin Healey. I hope his paint guy made the canister as pretty as I made the aluminum part. Let me know what you need help with.
