I visited The Green Light Gallery, in Macon, GA last night. I am very excited about my purchase. This numbered and signed print is called, "To Breathe Again." (Which describes how I feel when I am at the beach) If you look closely, you can see an orb over the ocean. 💔 This print speaks to me!
The artist, and gallery owner, Hazel Caldwell, is so talented and full of southern hospitality. If you're ever in middle Georgia, you should treat yourself and visit her gallery.

Commissioned piece.
This vintage elephant was originally a table. It was brought to me with a good bit of damage, but it had a lot of sentimental value. We had to save this!!!
I repaired all the holes with molding clay. After trying several designs, I went with a new age, tribal look. 🐘

I just finished up this Musical Jewelry Box. I'm not sure the name of the tune on this one, but it's some kind of Waltz. I forgot (again) to get a before picture. It was originally colored white, but it was so dirty and grimy, it looked like a dull yellow. I cleaned it up, sanded & painted it. I added some gold-leaf accents. I cleaned all the velvet drawers, too. They were tough! I am happy with the outcome and can't wait to gift it!

A dear friend and I enrolled in a pottery class together. We crafted juicers, which was an immensely enjoyable experience. The studio, StartUp Studios, offers an excellent environment to master this art form and also provides lessons in glass blowing. Our quaint city of Macon, GA brims with delightful activities!" 🌸
